    Transfer Scholarships are determined by a student’s cumulative academic GPA. You may begin the need-based financial aid process after December 1 of the year prior to fall admission. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov as soon as it becomes available for the application year. The Huntingdon Title IV code is 001019.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A cumulative GPA of 2.50 in transferable coursework is required for unconditional admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Applications from transfer students who have completed 24 or more non-remedial semester hours are evaluated based on college credit earned. High school transcripts are required from students who have earned fewer than 24 semester hours.
  • SAT Scores:
    Standardized test scores are not considered.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is granted for any course taken at a regionally accredited college or university with a grade of “D” or better. A grade of "C" or better is required for a course fulfilling a major or minor requirement.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 64 semester hours earned at two-year institutions may be credited toward the 120 hour degree requirement. A maximum of 90 semester hours of transfer work may be credited toward the 120 hour degree requirement.
