Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA:
Admissions to Hudson Valley Community College is open to students who have earned a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED).
Official Transcripts:
High school and college transcript(s), from every institution attended, are required.
SAT Scores:
SAT/ACT scores are recommended, but not required.
Application Fee:
Yes, $30 nonrefundable fee must be submitted with the application.
Interview:
Personal interviews are not usually required, however, the college may require an interview with individual applicants for counseling or clarification.
Other Requirements:
Some programs have application deadlines and additional admissions requirements.

Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade:
In general, credit may be granted for courses taken at accredited institutions where a grade of at least a C has been earned.
