    The financial aid application process is confidential and free. The first step in receiving a loan or grant is to apply and file a Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). The HCCC Foundation provides need-based and merit scholarships, as well as funding for new and innovative student programs at HCCC.

    Total Estimated Cost (Tuition & Fees) Per Credit: $223.50 In-County Residents | $372.50 Out-of-County Residents | $514.50 Out-of-State or International Residents. Other program fees may apply.

Information for Transfer In Students

  • Credit For Life Experience:
    Students matriculated in a degree program may earn up to thirteen (13) credits for work/life experience that is demonstrated to be the equivalent of college-level study.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    If you are transferring credits you must submit all official college transcripts to Enrollment Services so that a transcript evaluation can be completed before you register for classes.
  • Other Requirements:
    All students who are enrolled full-time must provide proof of immunizations. Students can provide evidence of exemptions for medical and religious reasons.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A grade of C or better is required for transfer credit consideration.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    HCCC will accept up to 30 transfer credits, provided that the course work at the previous institution was comparable to course work at HCCC. For the associate degree, the student must fulfill the HCCC residency requirement of a minimum of 30 credits.
