Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  High School and College transcripts required
• SAT Scores:
  Optional
• Letters of Recommendation:
  A letter of recommendation from a faculty member is recommended.
• Essay:
  A personal statement is required.
• Application Fee:
  Application fee of $45.
• Other Requirements:
  The Colleges review transfer applications on a rolling basis, with notification within 30 days of receiving academic credentials and all required application materials.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Only courses in which a student has earned a C or better, or its equivalent, are considered for transfer credit.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  HWS accepts a maximum of two years of college-level work (up to 16 three-credit-hour courses) from other undergraduate institutions.
