  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Hiram awards scholarships to transfer students on the basis of academic excellence at the collegiate level. Eligible students may receive transfer merit scholarships renewable for up to three years.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Students who have less than one year of full-time college credit are required to submit high school transcripts. If you have completed college coursework you should also include transcripts.
  • SAT Scores:
    Students who have less than one year of full-time college credit are required to submit their scores on the SAT I or ACT Assessment.
  • Essay:
    Students who have less than one year of full-time college credit are required to submit an essay or personal statement
  • Application Fee:
    A $35 application fee is waived for students applying on-line.
  • Interview:
    A personal interview is highly recommended for all applicants.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses Hiram generally accepts for credit are those in which students have earned a ā€œCā€ or better.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    No limit is placed on the number of credits which may be transfered to Hiram. However, students must complete a minimum of 60 semester hours.
