    Resident tuition - $129 per credit hour; Non-resident tuition - $233 per credit hour

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school and college transcripts are required.
  • Essay:
    Not required for admissions consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    No application fee if applying with the HCCC Application. There is a $40 fee if applying with the SUNY Application.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only grades of “C” or better will be considered for transfer credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students earning a degree or certificate from HCCC must successfully complete, at HCCC, 30 hours for the degree and 15 hours for the certificate of the total hours required for the program.

Information for Transfer Out Students

  • Transfer Agreements:
    HCCC has established transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities to provide a seamless transfer of credits. The College has also established a variety of 2+2 Programs.
  • Special Programs:
    Transfer Counseling services include individual transfer assistance with a transfer counselor, transfer assistance workshops, an annual Transfer College Day, and individual on-campus visits throughout the year by various four-year colleges.
