Harding University is a private Christian institution of higher education committed to the tradition of the liberal arts and sciences. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students with a 2.0 grade point average or higher are considered for unconditional admission. Those with lower averages are reviewed individually and may be granted conditional admission during any semester or summer term on academic probation.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer students who are transferring 14 or more hours we will not need a copy of your high school transcript. Transfer students who are transferring 14 or more hours to Harding must send an official transcript of all college work completed.
  • SAT Scores:
    Transfer students who are transferring 14 or more hours are not required to send us a copy of test scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    2 reference forms: academic reference from a principal, counselor or teacher; and character reference from a minister, church leader or a long-time family friend. If you have more than 14 transferable hours, the academic reference is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a nonrefundable $40 application fee.
