• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Harcum College views financing higher education as a partnership between the student and their family, the state and federal governments, and the institution. It is our hope that together this partnership will make it financially feasible to attend.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Yes, Harcum College is a transfer-friendly school. Every year, Harcum admits a large number of transfer students. We are very flexible in our transfer credit policy.

Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Students who have taken 15 or more credit hours at an accredited post-secondary institution with a grade point average of 2.5 or better are exempt from the core curriculum requirement of IDS 101-Harcum Colloquium.
• Official Transcripts:
  All applicants seeking transfer credit are required to submit official transcripts from all colleges attended and official high school transcript and/or official GED transcript.
• SAT Scores:
  All applicants must submit SAT or ACT scores.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  All applicants must submit a letter(s) of recommendation from an employer, teacher, or guidance counselor.
• Essay:
  All applicants must submit a writing sample or personal essay.
• Application Fee:
  $25 Application Fee .
• Other Requirements:
  Required math and science courses taken within the last five years may be accepted for transfer credit.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  In order to be accepted in transfer, a course must be directly relevant to the student's program of interest, and have been completed with a grade of "C" or better.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  A maximum of 30 credits may be transferred into Harcum College through traditional transfer credit and/or Credit for Life and Career Experience.
