Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required. If you have fewer than 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours, then your official high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    The submission of SAT/ACT scores is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    A structured interview may be required.
  • Other Requirements:
    A desktop review (evaluation of courses for transfer credit) is required. If a written course description is needed, it will be your responsibility to obtain appropriate course documentation.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The minimum grade requirement for transfer credit is C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To receive a degree/diploma from Gwinnett Technical College, normally at least half of the program courses must be completed at Gwinnett Tech. (Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.)
