Great Basin College offers associate and baccalaureate level instruction in career and technical education and academic areas. About 3,500 students are enrolled in campuses and centers across 62,000 square miles of rural Nevada. Great Basin College provides higher education and technical training to students in rural Nevada. Its main campus is in Elko, with branch centers in Battle Mountain, Ely, Pahrump and Winnemucca, and satellite centers in 19 communities across rural Nevada. The college engages in a variety of state of the art distance learning platforms as well, inluding interactive video and web based technologies.
