Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Not published.
  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of official transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions is required. Your official high school transcript is required if you have less than 30 attempted credits.
  • SAT Scores:
    For all transfer candidates, test score (SAT Reasoning and ACT with writing) submission is optional when applying for admission to Goucher.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Goucher requires one letter of recommendation from an academic teacher or professor.
  • Essay:
    The submission of an essay (500 word minimum) is required with your application.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $55 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    Goucher does not require a personal interview; however, it is recommended.
  • Other Requirements:
    The submission of official course descriptions is required.

    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum number of credits or courses that may be transferred is 60. The minimum number of credits that transfers must complete at Goucher to earn a bachelor’s degree is 60.
