Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students should be in good standing at the last institution attended, having a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request your official transcripts be sent from EVERY college or technical school you have ever attended. If you have less than 30 transferable hours from your college(s), you also need to submit your official high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    You must submit your official ACT/SAT scores if you have less than 30 transferable hours.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $25 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    GSSU does not publish a requirement for a personal interview.
  • Other Requirements:
    You must submit proof of immunization.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    All credit in 1000 and 2000 level courses used to satisfy Core Curriculum requirements will be accepted, except for English 1101 and 1102, which require min grades of C. Credit earned in upper level undergraduate courses requires a min grade of C.
