Georgia Perimeter College is among the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan two-year colleges. Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

Applicants with a college preparatory diploma must have a 2.0 GPA in academic coursework. Applicants with a technical/career diploma must have a 2.2 GPA in academic coursework
Official Transcripts:

An official high school transcript, indicating the type of diploma received and date of graduation and official college transcripts are required.
SAT Scores:

The submission of SAT/ACT scores are not required, but submission of scores may exempt you from portions of the Placement Test.
Letters of Recommendation:

A letter from the registrar or academic dean at the regionally accredited institution in which the student is enrolled that includes a statement of good standing is required.
Application Fee:

There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.
Interview:

Georgia Perimeter does not publish a requirement for a personal interview.
Other Requirements:

A Certificate of Immunization (Proof of Immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella) is required. Applicants to career programs must complete a Truth in Advertising form.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

Grades of "D" will be accepted for transfer unless otherwise noted. If the prerequisite for taking a higher level course is a "C" or better, the student must retake the course.
Credits (Min/Max):

Applicants with less than 30 hours of transferable college credit will also need to meet freshmen requirements to be guaranteed admission. Credit hours assigned to transferred courses cannot exceed the credit hours awarded at GPC.
