Transfer Application Requirements

    Applicants with a GPA of 2.0 or higher are admitted with Clear academic status. Applicants with less than a 2.0 are admitted on Academic Probation. Some programs have higher GPA requirements.

  • Transfer Agreements:
    The Alabama General Studies Committee guarantees that courses listed in thhe STARS/AGSC Guide will transfer from Gadsden State to participating 4-year state colleges and universities.
  • Special Programs:
    The Advising Center offers advisemeent for students planning to transfer to 4-year institutions. Generally, STARS Guides are used to ensure that students' coursework will transfer to in-state colleges and universities.
