Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer Students need to request official academic and financial aid transcripts from any previously attended colleges. Official high school transcripts are also required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no fee to apply.
  • Other Requirements:
    Applicants to the Nursing and Radiologic Technology programs must meet additional requirements including: submit an additional application and meet prerequisites. Proof of immunization is required of all applicants taking six or more credits.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses to be considered for transfer must carry a grade of ā€œCā€ or better from an accredited college
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To earn a degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College (except under special circumstances) a minimum of 50% of the degree requirements must be completed at FM.

Information for Transfer Out Students

  • Transfer Agreements:
    Fulton-Montgomery Community College has entered into transfer agreements with several public and private universities. New agreements are added each semester.
  • Special Programs:
    Transfer services provide transfer guidance to any student who is interested in continuing their education after FMCC. These services include individual counseling, transfer workshops and fall and spring Transfer Fairs.
