Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Transcripts must be submitted for all secondary and post-secondary coursework, even if completed at multiple institutions.
  • SAT Scores:
    Franklin & Marshall College has been and is proud to continue being a test optional institution.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A Letter of Recommendation from a College-Level Instructor is required.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is required.
  • Application Fee:
    The $60 application fee is paid electronically through the Common Application.
  • Other Requirements:
    To supplement your official transcript(s), you are required to submit a list of course descriptions for ALL completed and in-progress post-secondary coursework. A Transfer College Report is required.

  • Minimum Grade:
    C- is the lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    64 semester hours is the maximum number of credits that may be accepted for transfer.
