FSCC takes pride in being the oldest continuous community college in the state of Kansas, founded in 1919. At Fort Scott Community College, our students are part of our large family. The college's employees and board members strive to help students achieve their educational goals while maintaining the small town atmosphere that Fort Scott is famous for. The City of Fort Scott is nestled in the heart of Bourbon County and is home to the first National Cemetery, the historic Fort Museum and a thriving historic downtown. It offers antiques, boutiques, as well as, a history that lives on through the period buildings and area merchants. We invite you to spend time in Fort Scott, as well as take a campus tour.
