Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA required for transfer admission consideration is 2.0 for in state students, and 2.5 for out-of-state students.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer students under the age of 21 who have not completed at least 24 credit hours with at least a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 must submit official high school transcripts. Official postsecondary transcripts are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Transfer students under the age of 21 who have not completed at least 24 credit hours with at least a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 must submit official standardized test scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    FHSU does not publish a requirement for letters of recommendation.
  • Essay:
    FHSU does not publish a requirement for the submission of an essay or personal statement.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $30 nonrefundable application fee ($50 for international applicants).
  • Interview:
    FHSU does not publish a requirement for a personal interview.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Students must graduate from an accredited college or university with an associate degree based on a baccalaureate-oriented sequence.
