  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    All students who are admitted for Summer 2014 and students currently enrolled in Spring 2014 classes who have a valid 2013-2014 FAFSA on file will be awarded financial aid for Summer 2014. Offers will be posted later in the term (early April). Students who will not enroll for summer can refuse their financial aid offer at that time.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum GPA - 3.0 (except for Associate in Arts applicants from Florida community colleges entering based on articulation agreement).
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school transcripts are required if applying with less than 60 credits. College transcript(s) from every institution attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are required if applying with less than 60 credits. Submitting scores is recommended if applying with over 60 credits.
  • Application Fee:
    Yes, $30 nonrefundable fee must be submitted with the application.
  • Other Requirements:
    Applicants must meet the State of Florida's foreign language admission requirement and complete the Florida College-Level Academic Skills Test or an approved alternative. Additional requirements vary according to the major/program.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    In general, credit may be granted for courses completed at regionally accredited institutions where a grade of at least a D- has been earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The max credits accepted from a 2-year is 60. There is no max limit from a 4-year. You must complete 20 of your last 30 semester hours at FSU to earn an associate degree, and your last 30 to earn a bachelor's degree.
