Florida Institute of Technology is a fully accredited, co-educational, private university emphasizing education in the areas of science, engineering, aviation, business, and psychology. Located four miles from the Atlantic Ocean and 45 miles south of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida Tech is the largest private comprehensive scientific and technological university in the Southeast. Over 125 degrees are offered at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate levels from the five divisions: College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Aeronautics, College of Business, and the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts. The most popular majors include aerospace engineering, computer science, marine biology and aviation.

    While no minimum grade point average is specified, the student's GPA must indicate a readiness for college studies in a chosen academic program. Admission will be granted to those applicants who have completed the appropriate coursework that indicates progress towards their chosen field of study.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer Applicants must provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. U.S. applicants who have earned less than twenty-four (24) semester hours of credit must submit a high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores.
  • SAT Scores:
    Transfer Applicants must provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. U.S. applicants who have earned less than twenty-four (24) semester hours of credit must submit SAT I or ACT scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Two recommended, none required.
