If you complete the following with AP - Advanced Placement:

  • Calculus AB is designed to be taught over a full high school academic year. It is possible to spend some time on elementary functions and still cover the Calculus AB curriculum within a year. However, if students are to be adequately prepared for the Calculus AB examination, most of the year must be devoted to topics in differential and integral calculus. These topics are the focus of the AP Exam.

You may receive up to 5.00 credits at Wichita State University:

  • Calculus I General education introductory course. Analytic geometry and the calculus in an interrelated form. Credit in both MATH 242 and 144 is not allowed. Prerequisites: MATH 112 with a C or better or two units of high school algebra, and one unit of high school geometry and one-half unit of high school trigonometry, or MATH 123 and 111 with a C or better in each.
