  • An AP course in Macroeconomics is designed to give you a thorough understanding of the principles of economics that apply to an economic system as a whole. Such a course places particular emphasis on the study of national income and price determination, and also develops your familiarity with economic performance measures, economic growth, and international economics.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Pearl River Community College:

  • Prerequisite: A score of 16 on the Reading portion of the Enhanced ACT or REA 1013 with a grade of "C" or better.An introduction to economic principles, problems, and policies with emphasis on American capitalism, global economy, national income, employment, fiscal policy, money, monetary policy, economic stability, and the understanding of national policy for economic growth. Three lecture hours per week.
