Applications to a wide variety of physical systems ranging from sound, music, light, and color to atoms, nuclei, and elementary particles. Mostly descriptive, using photography, films, and demonstrations. <p><b>Note:</b> (1) No laboratory. (2) This course can be used to satisfy the university Core Science & Technology Second Level (SB) requirement.
