Studies the fundamentals of income tax preparation of business taxes for small businesses organized as proprietorships and partnerships. Includes sales and property taxes and income tax preparation related to business assets; business of the home; employment taxes; excise taxes; schedules C, SE and 1040; self-employed retirement plans; tip reporting and allocation rules, etc. Lecture 3 hours per week. Offered in spring.

Credits awarded for incoming transfer courses will be determined when an official transfer evaluation is completed upon the receipt of official transcripts. Credits taken on a quarter system are adjusted for semester credit hour conversion. Total number of transfer credits awarded is dependent on the Wilmington University program of study and up to the 90 credit maximum.
