You may receive up to 3.00 credits at University of Delaware:

  • Topics include functions, graphing functions, limits, derivatives, exponential and logarithmic functions, integration, and techniques of integration. Business applications are emphasized. PREREQ: MATH115, or MATH117 or an acceptable score (determined by the Department of Mathematical Sciences) on the Math Placement Exam. More information on the Math Placement Exam is available at https://www.mathsci.udel.edu/courses-placement/ud-math-placement. RESTRICTIONS: For students in the behavioral, management and social sciences. Students who received credit in MATH222, MATH232, MATH241, MATH242, or MATH243 are not eligible to take this course without permission.

Credits awarded for incoming transfer courses will be determined pending official University of Delaware admission offer. An equal amount of UD credits are typically awarded based on the number of incoming credits. Credits taken on a quarterly system are adjusted for semester credit hour conversion. The number of credits awarded for Transfer Electives will vary based on the credit-load taken at the original institution and the credit-load for the equivalent University of Delaware course(s).
