This course is an introduction to the historical events, visual styles, and basic technical methods of black-and-white photography. This course will cover camera techniques, film exposure, processing and black-and-white printmaking methods. Individual and group discussion will facilitate technical and aesthetic comprehension of photography as a means of personal expression. Lab fee.
