The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. If you complete the following at St Vincent's College:

  • A study of the structure of cells, tissues, and organ systems, their functional interrelationships and control mechanism. Course and laboratory work includes the study of DNA, cells, histology, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous and cardiovascular systems. Laboratory periods provide practical experience in understanding these concepts. Three hours lecture and one three-hour laboratory period per week. Pre-requisite: A minimum grade of "C+" in highschool biology and chemistry, or equivalent within the past five years or a "C+" or better in BIO100 and CHE 100.

You may receive up to 4.00 credits at Central Carolina Technical College:

  • This is the first in a sequence of courses, including an intensive coverage of the body as an integrated whole. All body systems are studied. Prerequisites: Grade of C or higher in the following courses: BIO 100 or high school biology; CHM 100 or high school chemistry; RDG 032 or placement score. A college chemistry course is not required, but is recommended.
