Explores biology as a science - a process of gaining new knowledge - as is the impact of biological science on society. Includes laboratory experiences. Designed for non-science majors. This course is a state guaranteed transfer course GT-SC1. BIO 105 cannot be applied towards the A.S. degree. Prerequisite(s): REA 090, ENG 090 and MAT 045 or MAT 060; concurrent enrollment in MAT 090 recommended. Four credits.
