Anatomy & Physiology I, BY 154, is a lecture-laboratory course designed to familiarize the student with the structures and functions of the systems of the human body. This course explores the mechanisms of the body's components under ideal conditions, and their dysfunction under adverse conditions. Included in this exploration are the trends in medical research and clinical applications of this research. At the end of this course, students will have a working knowledge and application of anatomy and physiology to continue further in their selected health science field and will have adequate knowledge of the discipline to enter and succeed in their chosen health care profession.
