The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. If you complete the following at Ohio University-Main Campus:

  • Graphs, inverses, and operations of functions. Study of polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Additional topics from trigonometry and analytic geometry. Recommended only for students intending to enroll in the 263 calculus sequence. Prerequisites: C OR BETTER IN MATH 113 OR MATH PLACEMENT LEVEL 2 OR HIGHER Credit Hours: 5 General Education Code: 1M Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Clemson University:

  • Gateway course for MATH 1060. Comprehensive treatment of functions and analytic geometry with applications including polynomial, rational, algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Not open to students who have received credit for MATH 1050. Preq: Any MATH or STAT course, or a score of 540 or higher on the SAT Math section, or a score of 21 or higher on the ACT Math section, or a score of 50 or higher on the Clemson Mathematics Placement Test (CMPT). Coreq: MATH 1031.
