In all instances, final decisions about acceptance of course credit will be made by The Citadel.

If you complete the following at Capitol Technology University:

  • Metric system and significant figures; stoichiometry; fundamental concepts of atomic structure and its relationship to the periodic table; electron configuration; bonds and electronegativity; gases; oxidation states and redox; solutions, acids and bases, changes of state, thermodynamics, chemical kinetics and equilibrium.
    Credits
    3.00

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at The Citadel:

  • The first semester of a course designed for students who are not science and engineering majors. The course will cover the fundamentals of chemistry including electronic structure of the atoms, bonding, basic chemical calculations, gases, and various types of reactions.
