This course is designed to acquaint students with developmental disabilities. Students will learn characteristics of specific disabilities and appropriate activities and procedure for including all populations in outdoor adventure activities. The class will include historical, theoretical and philosophical perspectives concerning the inclusion of all populations in all aspects of society. In lab sessions, students will work with people with disabilities in an outdoor education and recreation setting. Credits: 3 Offered Semester II Prerequisite: None
