4 semester hours Physiology is a course designed to explore the functions of the human body. Students will gain an understanding of the major body systems. Emphasis is placed on relating anatomy (structure) to physiology, homeostasis (the maintenance of a relatively stable internal environment) and system interactions. Prerequisite: BI 211. Prerequisite for 200 -level nursing course for nursing majors.
