  • 4 credits This course covers the scope, method, and theory of physical anthropology, from evolutionary biology and primate behavior to forensics and paleopathology. Focus is given to the applied perspectives of physical anthropology. Laboratory work concentrates on issues of growth, physiology, morphology, pathology, and behavioral patterns of the human condition in time and space. Twenty-five hours of laboratory work on skeletal collections are required.
