  • This self-instructional course is designed for students who want to improve in one or two of the following A.A.C. areas: study skills, reading comprehension, reading rate, vocabulary improvement, advanced spelling, basic math, algebra preparation or chemistry preparation. Once the areas of study have been determined, a pretest will be administered by the instructor in each of these areas, and a program of study will be developed using materials provided by the A.A.C. An Academic Achievement Center instructor is available to work with students to establish specific goals, administer tests, and to provide individualized instruction needed to complete the student's program. This course does not fulfill degree requirements. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $2 to $5.
