This course surveys American literature from the colonial period to the present. It is designed for non-majors and will not count toward the English major on the B.A. degree, or toward the English Language Arts or secondary English programs on the B.S.E. degree. Students pursuing these degrees must take ENGL 2341 to satisfy the general education requirement. Prerequisites: ENGL 1301 and 1302 with a grade of "C" or higher.
