Equivalency Details

The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer.   • Introduces some major theories, principles, and concepts. Includes ethnographic studies of selected cultures, including Iroquois, Masai, Yanomamo, and people of Papua, New Guinea. Includes subsistence patterns, political and economic systems, marriage, family and kinship, gender roles, religion and magic, and culture and personality. Issues such as universal human rights and consequences of progress also addressed. 3 credits
