Equivalency Details

The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. Other factors to consider are grades received in the courses, the year in which the course was taken, and the major pursued after transfer. If you complete the following at Cloud County Community College:

  • Helps to acquaint agricultural students with the scope of the livestock, dairy and poultry industries. It introduces the basic concepts of inheritance, breeding systems, nutrition and physiology of reproduction; concepts of lactation, growth, egg laying and muscular work; and acquaints students with marketing procedures, carcass and slaughter grades, principles of carcass grading and aids in the evaluation of live animals.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Tarleton State University:

  • The scientific study of animal agriculture involving beef cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and horses. Subjects covered will include management practices involving reproduction, nutrition, health, handling, genetic selection, and shelter. Marketing strategies and procedures. CREDIT FOR ANSC 1319 & VETE 1307 WILL NOT BE AWARDED. Lab fee $13.
