Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    If you've completed 24 or more transferable credit hours after high school with a 2.0, you're admitted unconditionally. If you have below a 2.0, you will be considered for admission through the 10% window.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official college transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required. For students who will transfer 23 or less credit hours to ESU, you will also need to send your official high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Official standardized test scores are required if you are 20 years of age or younger.
  • Essay:
    You may be required to submit an essay or personal statement.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $30 nonrefundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    A personal interview is not required for transfer admission consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There are no maximum limits on transfer credits; however, you must earn 30 credits at ESU to earn your associate degree.
