The Mission of Employment Solutions/College for Technical Education is to assist people with barriers to employment to become self-sufficient. The College for Technical Education is a division of Employment Solutions, Inc, a non-orofit 502 (c) (3) organization that is dedicated to ensuring a quality education to people interested in achieving “real skills” in a CAREER FOCUSED environment. The College for Technical Education, formerly known as the Center for Training and Employment, began in 1997 in Lexington, KY. The main campus located at 1165 Centre Parkway, Lexington, KY offers career focused education in eight (8) careers in which to choose. In 2012 the college opened an extension campus in Winchester, KY teaching Cosmetology.
