Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum college grade point average of 2.00 is required of transfer applicants.
  • Official Transcripts:
    If under 12 credits official high school transcript need to be submitted. Official transcripts from previously attended institutions are required for admission consideration.
  • SAT Scores:
    If under 12 credits, standardized test scores are required for admission consideration.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Statement of good standing from prior institution(s) is not required for admission consideration.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is not required for admission consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    An application fee of $30 if mailed, $20 for online or walk-in applications.
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required for admission consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a C or higher.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Max number of credits that may be transferred from 1-year school or a 4-year school, is unlimited. The min number of credits at Eastern is 60 from a 2-year/30 from a 4-year school.
