Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale on all work from accredited institutions is required.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Ask the Registrar of each accredited college and/or university you have attended and the high school guidance counselor, if less than 24 semester hours of college work to send an official transcript of your record directly to the Office of Admissions
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have completed less than 24 semester hours of college work, provide an official copy of your high school records and ACT or SAT scores.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $30 nonrefundable fee to apply.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    No limit exists on the number of credits that may be transferred from other institutions; however, students must meet the minimum residence and upper division requirements in effect at EKU to receive a degree.
