Financial Aid is available to ECU students to help meet the costs of their education. Prospective or enrolled students can contact the Financial Aid Office for information regarding loans, grants and part-time employment.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

With more than 24 hours attempted, you must have a GPA of at least 2.00. 24 hours or less attempted, you must have a 2.7 high school GPA.
Official Transcripts:

All official college transcripts from previous colleges/universities are required, as well as your official high school transcript.
SAT Scores:

Standardized test scores may be required of some applicants.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement is not required.
Application Fee:

There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.
Interview:

An interview is not required.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

The lowest grade earned for any course that may be considered for transfer credit is D.
Credits (Min/Max):

You may transfer from approved institutions up to 94 semester hours of approved credit toward a degree or a program. No more than 64 hours of the transferred credit may be earned at 2-years. No more than 32 hours of the transferred may be 1-year.
