    A wide range of financial aid programs from federal and state funds are available. Dominican has an extensive Transfer Scholarship Program for full-time day students based on GPA. These scholarships are awarded at the time of initial admission.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Dominican does not publish a minimum grade requirement for transfer admission consideration.
  • Official Transcripts:
    You must submit an official transcript from each college or university previously attended. Transfer students who have completed fewer than 24 credits at the time of application, must also submit a transcript from their high school.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have less than 24 transferrable credits, the submission of official standardized test scores is required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Dominican does not publish a requirement for letters of recommendation.
  • Essay:
    Dominican does not publish a requirement for an essay or personal statement, nor do they ask for one on their application.
  • Application Fee:
    A non-refundable application fee of $35.00 must accompany every application.
  • Interview:
    Dominican does not publish a requirement for a personal interview; however, they do encourage a campus visit to meet with an admission counselor.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Dominican does not publish a minimum grade requirement for transfer credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 70 credits will be accepted from a two-year school and a maximum of 90 credits will be accepted from a four-year institution. A minimum of 30 credits must be completed at Dominican College in order for a degree to be awarded.
