Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement for transfer admission consideration is 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges are required. If you have completed fewer than 24 semester credits (35 quarter hours) of college work submit official high school transcript, complete with graduation date.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have completed fewer than 24 semester credits (35 quarter hours) of college work submit official ACT/SAT scores.
  • Essay:
    DSU does not require an essay or personal statement.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $35 non-refundable application fee.
  • Interview:
    DSU does not require an interview.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You must complete 16 credits in residence at DSU to earn an associate degree, 32 credits to earn a bachelor's degree.
