• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Complete a FAFSA for federal and state assistance. School code: 001792. Our DePauw merit and performance awards? are open to transfer students, and are awarded based on GPA, test scores, community service, leadership, musical talent and the strength of your high school curriculum.
• Tuition and Fees:
  The total estimated direct expenses are $67,994 which includes tuition, room & board, mandatory fees, and housing. Approximate additional costs are books $994, personal and transportation $1,300, and student health insurance $1,444/$1,786.

  We welcome transfer students each year at DePauw in both the fall and spring semesters.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Traditionally, admitted transfer applicants have demonstrated a minimum GPA of 3.0 in college-level work.
• Official Transcripts:
  Transfer applicants must submit a final high school transcript and official college transcripts for all prior institutions.
• SAT Scores:
  Official Test Scores (ACT or SAT) are required.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  A letter of recommendation is required.
• Other Requirements:
  Secondary School Report (not required if student has completed at least two years of college studies at another institution).

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  DePauw generally accepts course credits earned at accredited institutions as elective credit if the grades are C or above and the subject and level are appropriate for a DePauw liberal arts degree.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Fifteen courses applicable toward the degree, including six of the last eight, must be completed in residence at DePauw University or in a DePauw University-approved program.
