Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Dean College uses a holistic review process, therefore we do not have a minimum GPA requirement for admission.
• Official Transcripts:
  We require official high school transcripts, as well as transcripts from any colleges in which courses were completed.
• SAT Scores:
  SAT or ACT scores are strongly encouraged, particular for students who have earned less than 15 credits on the college level.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  A letter of recommendation from a collegiate instructor is required.
• Essay:
  We require an admission essay of approximately 500 words.
• Other Requirements:
  Additional application requirements for applicants to the Dance or Theatre programs may apply

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  The minimum grade requirement that may be accepted for transfer credit is C-.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Students accepted to an Associate degree program may transfer in as many as 30 credits of previously completed college level coursework.
