Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Transfer Scholarships are awarded based on GPA, courses completed and courses taken. Award amounts range from $3,500-8,000 per academic year. All other financial aid is awarded based on the FAFSA. Over 90% of DSU students receive financial aid.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  DeSales University accepts transfer students for both the fall and spring semesters.
• Transfer Applications Received:
  Typically for the fall semester DeSales University will receive between 300 to 400 applications, and for the Spring semester between 75 to 100 applications.
• Transfer Applications Accepted:
  DeSales typically will accept between 150 to 200 applications for the fall semester and between 50 to 75 applications for the spring semester
• Percentage Accepted:
  Around 75% of total applications
• Transfer Applicants Enrolled:
  Typically DeSales will enroll between 50 to 75 transfer students for the fall semester and between 25 to 50 transfer students in the spring semester.
• Transfer Agreements:
  DSU has Transfer Agreements with Bucks County CC, Community College of Philadelphia, Delaware County CC, Lehigh Carbon CC, Northampton CC, Montgomery County CC, County College of Morris, Middlesex County College, Raritan Valley CC, and Warren County CC.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  2.5 preferred (will consider over a 2.0). For Nursing: minimum 2.8 for consideration. For Elementary Education or Physician Assistant: minimum 3.0 for consideration. *Physician Assistant, Theatre, and Dance require interviewing/auditioning before acceptance into the major.
• Official Transcripts:
  Official High School and College transcripts (from all colleges attended) required
• SAT Scores:
  No SAT scores required if transferring with at least two full time semesters at another institutuion.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Not required
• Essay:
  Not required
• Application Fee:
  Free online, paper application fee is $30
• Interview:
  Not required, but available. Please visit http://www.desales.edu/visit to schedule an interview
• Other Requirements:
