Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official copy of high school transcript must be submitted for applicants who have completed fewer than 30 transferable semester hours. Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are not required for admission.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Student must submit a statement of good standing with prior institution for admission consideration.
  • Essay:
    Darton College does not ask for an essay or personal statement on the application.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $20 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A grade of C or better is required, and credit is issued for equivalent courses in your curriculum. A max of two courses carrying grades of D may be transferred if they satisfy curricular requirements and if your transfer GPA is at least 2.0.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 42 semester hours of academic work may be transferred to Darton College. A limited number of credits earned by correspondence may be transferred if they carry satisfactory grades and meet curricular requirements.
