  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is required for almost all financial aid programs offered by Dallas College.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    Dallas County residents pay $237 per three-hour class — that is $79 per credit hour, or $948 for a full-semester load of 12 credit hours. $135 per credit hour for out-of-county residents. $200 per credit for out-of-state and international residents.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have previously attended are required. Once we receive your official transcripts, we'll evaluate them to determine how many credits will transfer.
  • SAT Scores:
    Unless you meet certain exemptions with SAT, ACT , and/or HiSET scores, you'll need to submit TSI assessment test scores from the last college you attended or complete assessment testing.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit for courses in which a passing grade ("D" or better) has been earned may be transferred to Dallas College from regionally accredited institutions.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To earn any degree or certificate, a student must complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College which does not include credit-by-exam courses.
